What's in the (inner) Box?

Howdy Survivors,
Another fortnight has come and gone. The factory has been hard at work making sure the details in the mold are all right. Meanwhile, we've been putting the final touches on some print files, especially the Objective cards for Gears & Guns. We've also been trying to reconfirm and nail down a more accurate production schedule based on the prevailing global conditions with manufacturing and will update you as soon as we have more information.
Recently, we received samples of the Undead or Alive vacuum tray within the inner 'crate', along with some early plastics. Here's a sneak peek.
The uppermost layer of the vacuum tray will hold the miniatures for Survivors, Runners, Abomination, and the item cards and dashboards.
Curious Kassey is investigating the case of the missing Carl.
A middle vacuum tray layer holds the wooden dice, pegs, and eventually, the counter bases, (currently not pictured). It also protects the Survivors from the ravenous Walkers and Brutes down below!
Last but not least, we have reached the depths of the 'crate' where the horde resides. In the final version, there will be a miniature layout included on the insides of the box for reference when packing up after a game.
They're just raring to go!

Howdy Survivors,
Hoowee! What a week it's been, processing files and approving all sorts of assets. We've got a purdy lookin' render of the inner box that comes inside every copy of Zombicide: Undead or Alive. As well as some behind-the-scenes pics from the factory that's hard at work.
But before that, here's the final reminder that the Pledge Manager is closing on November 01, 2021! This is the final deadline for backers to guarantee their pledges. There will no longer be Late Confirm Packs available, so if you fail to confirm your pledge by the deadline, we will be completely unable to offer you a pledge later.
Please make sure that you don't have any outstanding payment pending in your orderand that the order is completed. Pledges with outstanding payments will not be fulfilled. If you have outstanding amounts pending, you can sort them out directly in the system or contact Support for assistance.
On to this week's update.
First up, we have the rustic-looking inner box to match the rustic western charm. It's modeled after a bloodstained wooden crate, with the Zombicide: Undead or Alive logo applied onto the surface as if it were branded on. This loot crate will keep your miniatures, dashboards, dice, and more, safe inside!

Moving on, over the past few months, we've been uploading various pictures of resins for each sculpt. Once the resins are approved, they are used as master copies in the arduous process of creating the metal molds for production. Today, we have some pictures of some molds to show you!
Here's a close-up of one-half of the metal cavities made in the mold tooling process. Can you guess who (or what) this is?
Tuning and working on the molds to make sure the plastic comes out looking good is a delicate process. both sides of the mold have to fit together perfectly. Here you can see two halves of the mold cavities that make up the bodies of two characters. You can also see the tracks that the injected plastic will run along to eventually fill up the mold cavity.
Ever so often, miniatures have to be injected in separate parts, then assembled in the factory. If you look closely, you can see the molds below don't contain each miniatures' head. These will be assembled separately later on.
Looks like we might have some samples to show in the coming weeks!

A gentle reminder before we start this week's update: The deadline for submitting and paying for your pledge is approaching! Make sure to confirm your pledge manager by November 01, 2021! Please be advised that this is the final deadline for backers to guarantee their pledges! We will no longer be making limited Late Confirm Packs available, so if you fail to confirm your pledge by the deadline we will be completely unable to offer you a pledge later.
Please remember that payment will be processed immediately as soon as the order is placed. You’ll still be able to edit your address until the deadline, but the items of your pledge (pledge level and optional buys) will be locked as soon as the order is finalized, no longer being editable from then on. So be sure to fill out your survey carefully, including all the products you want, within the November 1st deadline.

Whilst the folks been completin' they're pledges, the production's been chugging along as usual. There's been some tidying up of print files as well as receiving and checking some plastic samples from different boxes here and there.
For today's update, we're starting off with something a little explosive: The dynamite tracker pegs!
These colorful, thematic pegs come in every core box of Zombicide: Undead or Alive, aiding the Survivors in their journey against the hordes of Zombies.
Not like that!
These pegs help players to keep track of which Skills they've acquired as they kill more Zombies and increase their Danger Levels. They also help indicate how many Wounds each Survivor has already sustained. Here's how the trackers look on this brand new dashboard sample we've received.

For those who want more of these components, the Extra Players Upgrade Set contains another 6 colors of counter bases and pegs. It also contains extra player dashboards for games of up to 12 Survivors!
Poor Crocosaur, he didn't stand a chance. Perhaps his rival, the Abominape would've fared better?
