Latest Updates from Our Project:

Extra Box Covers
over 2 years ago – Sat, Jan 22, 2022 at 04:19:00 AM

Howdy Survivors,

How's everyone doing? Today, we have a small update regarding the boxes for some add-ons and Kickstarter exclusives. While we didn't share these boxes during the campaign, these will have their own cover, so they sit nicely alongside the other content in the Zombicide: Undead or Alive range!

First, we have the Steampunk Extras box containing 9 extra Survivors that come with every Steampunk or Full Steam Pledge. A set of extra characters for your Zombicide: Gears & Guns campaign!

Next, we have the box for the deadly duo: the Abominape and Crocosaur, showcasing the artwork of the two fearsome beasts in their full glory on the front.

Last but not least, we also have the box for the Extra Players Upgrade Set so you can store your spare dashboards, color bases, and dynamite pegs in style.

Happy trails to you, 'till we meet again.

Plastics - Core Box Close Up
over 2 years ago – Mon, Jan 10, 2022 at 04:52:35 AM

Howdy Survivors,

How’s the new year been treating everyone? Today we’ll have a closer look at some core box plastic minis that have been keeping us busy.

To start off the update, we have some good news on the runners. Previously, we received feedback on the colors of the Runners in the core box and they now have been updated to a darker grey color for easier identification amongst a horde of walkers.

A comparison between the dark grey runners and a standard grey walker.

Next, we have the Zombicide: Undead or Alive Survivors in all their glory. These friends will be the posse that will carry you through all 10 missions of the core box!

Carl the Brawler
Concepción the Faithful
Hanna the Townsfolk
Henry the Brawler
Jeb the Townsfolk
Jimmy the Gunslinger
May the Brawler
Meg the Gunslinger
Molly the Gunslinger
Pablito the Gunslinger
Kassey the Brawler
Thomas the Faithful
Trixie the Townsfolk
Turner the Gunslinger
The posse is in town!

Last but not least, we have the trusty Gatling Gun, which is occasionally found mounted on the Wagon and can be used to turn the zombie-killing spree into a massacre!

Gatling Gun the Trusty

Hopefully the plastics whet your appetite. We're looking forward to revealing more in the upcoming weeks so stay tuned!

Happy trails to you, 'till we meet again.

Tile Art: Streets of Steam
over 2 years ago – Sat, Dec 25, 2021 at 01:21:11 AM

Howdy Survivors,

Today, we'll end off the series on tile art with the tiles from Zombicide: Gears & Guns. These make up the landscape of a retrofuturistic wild west, where the world is powered by steam.

Each tile has a Zone dedicated to the Steam Machine which cannot be entered. These useful machines allow Survivors to refill their steam equipment at steam nozzles that are scattered across the map.

But be wary, when the Steam Monster spawns, he breaks the steam nozzles in his Zone to produce deadly steam jets! When this happens, Survivors must make use of Switches to turn these nozzles off and stop the dangerous Steam from dealing damage or clouding their vision.

Without further ado, here are some of the tiles from the series!

Well, that's it for today. Hope y'all enjoy your holidays and have a great new year.

Happy trails to you, 'till we meet again.

Tile Art: Western Tilescapes
over 2 years ago – Sat, Dec 11, 2021 at 12:50:09 AM

Howdy Survivors,

Hope y'all have been well. While the year draws to a close, we are reviewing plastic samples and making sure that everything is good to go for mass production to begin. We're are also working to determine production schedule and timeline, to make sure we have all estimates for printing, assembly, and shipping from all involved factories, particularly considering the impact of 2022's Chinese New Year, which dates will coincide with a portion of production. We will keep you posted as soon as we have more information.

We'll be continuing our series on the tile artwork today,  with a close-up look at some tiles of the Zombicide Undead or Alive core box, starting with the tiles that feature the Graveyard and Mine.

At the start of Missions, these Zones will feature an inactive Abomination Spawn Token that activates when the Abomination Spawn Card is drawn from the Zombie deck.

Next up, we have the more typical tiles that make up the rest of the Western tilescape. These sometimes feature Corpse Piles (indicated by the blood-stained sheets), where Active Corpse Pile tokens are placed as a Survivor enters the building. Only some Holy Water will put these souls to rest!

Some tiles feature Balconies for the Survivors to get better vantage points and shoot down at the swarms of Undead. They just need to take care to not find themselves cornered since they may only leave the balcony by the staircase connected!

And that's all for this week folks!

Happy trails to you 'till we meet again.

Tile Art: Train & Tracks
over 2 years ago – Mon, Nov 29, 2021 at 03:03:35 AM

Howdy Survivors,

How's everyone been doing? Another busy fortnight has come and gone and we're still in the thick of receiving and checking files and samples. Our molds are being tuned to each piece of feedback and hopefully, we'll be able to show something soon! Since the Pledge Manager closed, there's been a fresh wave of nitty-gritty administrative details to take care of. That being said, let's move on to this week's update.

For today, we'll take a closer look at the artwork of the Train tiles featured in Undead or Alive. The Train Tiles can be found in the core box, as well as the Extra Tiles Set. They are a new feature in this Zombicide installment, traveling across the board, carrying Survivors, and smashing into Zombies along the way!

The tiles in Zombicide: Undead or Alive were illustrated by Nicolas Fructus, a very talented artist who has been illustrating tiles in the Zombicide series since the game's inception. (He's also worked on multiple other CMON productions like Cthulhu: Death May Die and Starcadia Quest!)

On one side of the Train tiles, you have the Train tracks, which use painted railroad ties to demarcate the street Zones in the game.

On the other side, you have the Train Locomotive, Cabin, Tender, and Train cars. Each segment forms a building, while the Zones inside the Train are considered to be building Zones.

In our next update we'll be taking a closer look into the other tiles that compose the Wild West landscape!

Happy trails to you, 'till we meet again.
